And I thought these were perfect for drawing. Well, they didn’t turn out quite coloring page-worthy, but it was still fun to do. 

Okay, so my sketching skills may need polishing, but I do have the coloring page thing down with these 21 unique, free printable coloring pages of shoes.

By the way, here’s something interesting about shoes. It’s estimated that shoes were invented about 40,000 years ago. They were basically soft leather wrapped around the foot, much like moccasins. Can you believe that?

Fun Shoes Facts

  • Nike sneakers were originally going to be called Dimension 6. However, it doesn’t seem to have the same ring, does it?
  • The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers first came out in 1917!
  • It wasn’t until the mid-1800s that shoes were shaped for a left foot and a right foot. Before then, they were both straight. 
  • It’s believed the reason the term sneakers is used is because the rubber sole allows you to sneak around quietly.
