About The Show, The Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir
It takes place in modern-day Paris. The story follows two unusual superheroes.
The main character, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, is a student and budding fashion designer, who transforms into a ladybug with magical powers –aka Miraculous Ladybug.
The supporting character is Adrien Agreste, who is also a fashion design student. He transforms into Black Cat –aka Cat Noir (pronounced chat), with magical powers.

Fun Facts You May Not Know About The Tales Of Miraculous Ladybug
- Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a quarter French, Italian and Chinese. She is of average height with medium-length black hair with a blue tint that is always in pigtails. Her eyes are blue, and she has freckles on her nose.
- Ladybug wears black earrings as a civilian and as Miraculous when Tikki inhabits them. She sports a light pink purse with a black strap.
- Cat Noir has green cat eyes and slitted pupils. His hair becomes longer and unruly. His cat suit is textured and black with metal details. He has a black mask to cover his face and black cat ears.
- When transformed, Cat Noir wears a ring that turns black and a bright green paw print appears on the face of it.

- Adrien’s father is Gabriel Agreste. He transforms into the main villain, Hawk Moth.
