Fireplace Coloring Palette Ideas

Here are eight warm colors you typically see in fireplaces, from the lightest color of off-white to dark orange or red.

The lighter colors are the hottest flame, and darker (oranger) are the least desirable so that the lighter colors would be closer to the heat source, the logs.

And, of course, there are various brown and nearly black tones for the colors of the logs.

Ideas For What To Do With Finished Fireplace Coloring Pages

Fireplace Postcards

Take a piece of cardstock and glue the coloring page to it. Next, you cut cardstock to size at the standard postcard dimensions 6×9.

Spray the front of the postcard with clear acrylic top coat spray to protect it, and have your child write a personal message on the back.

Create Christmas Wall Art

Combine these fireplace coloring sheets with ones from our elf pages and Santa color by number to create a Christmas scene.

Use poster board, and cut out each character or element. Have your child arrange them on the poster board and glue them for a new, fun piece of wall art.

A Personalized Greeting Card

Use one of the fireplace pages with a wreath. Crop the page to fit the fireplace and wreath.

Take a photo of your child, cut out their head in a circle, and use a glue stick to paste their photo inside the wreath.

Then glue this to card stock paper, fold it in half, and write a personalized message or rhyming poem.
